Library

The centre library of Dr. B. Lal Institute is fully air-cooled. It is the brain of the Institute. It offers large & spacious reading room, research facilities & provides the academic environment for studies and research. Library opens round the clock and provides better and wider facilities and resources to its readers. There are a number of reference/text books, journals of National and International standards. It subscribes to both National and regional newspapers and magazines for the benefit of students and general readers. The e-library provides access of e-journals/ books and Internet for the users free of cost.


Lecture theaters and Seminar room

The world class lecture theatres and their arrangements create conducive atmosphere for learning and quenching the thrust of knowledge of students. All class rooms are well equipped with sophisticated audio-visual facilities including LCD projector & OHP, motorized screens, infrared pointers, cordless microphones and speakers, etc.

   Microbiology lab

Well equipped lab (bio safety cabinet, colony counter, incubator, digital balance, pH meter etc.)

Over 50 clinical samples processed every day as a part of clinical microbiology work of Dr. B. Lal Clinical Laboratory thus providing a good microbiological exposure to students and easy availability of pathogenic and non pathogenic organisms for teaching as well as research.

To provide a practical insight into the subject areas and to develop techniques for sustainable use of resources, bioremediation of contaminated sites, biological treatment of industrial effluents and bioconversion of organic matter.
