B.Sc. Biotechnology aims to develop highly specialized hard core Specialization in various diversified areas of biotechnology and its application to Medicine, Agriculture, Environment, Neutraceutcals and functional food etc. The curriculum imparts training in both fundamental and applied aspects of biotechnology. Each subject is adequately supported by applied practical conducted in well equipped laboratories in the area of biotechnology, Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular genetics. The program is a well conceived curriculum so as to fulfill the requirement for higher academic pursuits in biotechnology.

To supplement the course structure, special Personality Development sessions are regularly arranged to prepare students for the industry. Proficiently designed Personality Development Modules give emphases on Interpersonal & Leadership skills and Communication skills. Students are also provided with basic computer training.
