Industrial Training is an integral part of academic curriculum of U.G. & P.G. students pursuing their studies in biotechnology and allied fields of life sciences. The objective of this programme is to provide industry-specific training to biotech students for skill development and enhancing their job opportunities in biotech industry. The programme is specially designed for students to gain a ‘hands on’ industrial training experience of an international level biotechnology laboratory. Hence, all possible efforts are made to inculcate research aptitude and good work culture among the students through well planned, properly executed and evaluated training. Certificates are issued after the successful completion of the project. The outstanding project works are encouraged for publications on the interest of the students. 

 Dissertation Work:

 1.  Specific topic would be provided to the student according to their choice and availability of project.

 2. Student would carry out their dissertation under special research guidance by faculty member.

 3. Required chemicals & reagents would be provided.

 4. Required data on the selected topic would be provided.

Objectives of Training Program

 1. Experience & Understand real life situations in research institutions & industrial organizations and getting acquainted with the sophisticated equipment and the ability to interpret the experimental data.

 2. Learning accepted safety practices in the industry.

 3. Developing  personality &  communication skills for future roles as Managers in biotechnology industry.

 4. Understand the formal and informal relationships in an industrial organization so as to promote favorable human relations and teamwork.

 5.  Develop a sense of responsibility towards society.
